My name is Michelle McAlpin. I am a practioner of two styles of yoga nidra (iRest® and Amrit Method®), Reiki, and contemplative psychotherapy. All of these modalities have had a role in my own journey and I offer them to my clients in a mix that can be different for each client. Creating a space, physical and energetic, in which clients feel safe and supported is an important part of what I do.
I have named my practice Healing Paths and Practices to reflect my awareness that all of us are on paths and that we use our practices to stay on those paths. Not all of the paths and practices in our lives are healing ones—although they may very well be the ones that we need or have needed, now or in the past, to survive. Wherever you are on your paths, we can work together on practices that will help you to live your life more at ease.
